In Canada, the writer visited the Indian narrator Pi Patel and asked him to tell his life story. Pi tells the story of his childhood in Pondicherry, India, and the origin of his nickname. One day, said his father, owner of the zoo that the community already supports the zoo and he therefore decided to move to Canada, where the animals are sold in family-owned.
